Job Overview

As a Customer Service Agent, you’ll play a key role in helping passengers with ticket sales, flight bookings, and schedule changes. You’ll also handle any challenges that come up — such as flight delays or cancellations — while keeping passengers informed and supported at all times.

Main Responsibilities

Your daily duties will include:

Assisting passengers with ticket sales, bookings, and flight changes.
Explaining airline rules, terms, and conditions to customers clearly and professionally.
Helping passengers during flight disruptions or cancellations and ensuring proper communication.
Managing and protecting confidential passenger information.
Handling customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Escalating complex issues to the Supervisor on duty.
Ensuring the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

This role demands excellent communication, patience, and the ability to remain calm when things get busy — which is quite often in the aviation world.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
Previous airport or ticket sales experience is essential.
Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
Strong computer literacy – particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English).
A professional phone manner and the ability to deal with passengers in a polite and efficient way.
Ability to handle conflict and solve problems under pressure.
