FNB Youth Development Learner Opportunity

Job Description:

This role offers an exciting opportunity for young individuals to gain work experience while completing a formal, registered qualification. As a Youth Development Learner at FNB, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the business, including research, analysis, administration, and project work.

Throughout the employment period, you will receive additional work-related training as needed, and you are expected to meet all qualification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management: Identify and escalate potential risks that could increase costs.
Cost Awareness: Demonstrate awareness of your contribution to reducing costs.
Financial Processes: Increase knowledge and adherence to financial processes and operating standards.

Customer Service: Interact with customers while adhering to FNB’s shared values, service standards, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) outcomes. Resolve complaints and take ownership of issues.
Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback to help improve service quality.
Product Knowledge: Ensure technical accuracy when providing advice and information.
Process Efficiency: Work with enhanced procedures to maintain operational efficiency and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Innovation: Investigate new ways to optimize processes and improve business operations.
Team Contribution: Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals, live shared values, and respect diversity.
Personal Development: Identify development gaps and create a plan to improve skills and competencies. Regularly review your progress with your team leader.
