🛍️ About the Job

As a Sales Assistant at Galaxy Boy, you will play a key role in helping customers find their perfect outfits, improving their shopping experience, and ensuring the store is always looking great. Your job will involve assisting customers, organizing stock, and boosting sales through expert recommendations.

👕 What You’ll Be Doing

1️⃣ Customer Service

✅ Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
✅ Help shoppers find what they need and suggest great fashion items
✅ Share product knowledge, including materials and care instructions
✅ Recommend additional products to increase sales (UPT, ATV, Conversion & Turnover)
✅ Make shopping fun and engaging for every customer
✅ Explain different payment options like PAYFLEX, PJN, and Happy Pay

2️⃣ Visual Merchandising

✅ Keep the store looking stylish and well-organized
✅ Arrange products according to brand guidelines
✅ Ensure clothes are steamed, folded, and displayed neatly
✅ Update product tags and pricing as needed

3️⃣ Stock Management

✅ Make sure popular items are always available on the sales floor
✅ Replenish stock and report shortages to management
✅ Keep the stockroom neat and well-organized
✅ Assist in unpacking and sorting new stock deliveries

4️⃣ Store Operations & Housekeeping

✅ Follow work schedules and arrive on time
✅ Process sales transactions accurately at the cash register
✅ Handle cash and update store records
✅ Keep the store clean and inviting for shoppers

🎯 What We’re Looking For

✔️ Essential Skills

✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✅ Ability to sell and upsell products
✅ Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer skills
✅ Good time management and multitasking abilities

✔️ Personal Qualities

✅ Passion for fashion and retail
✅ Outgoing and friendly personality
✅ Self-motivated and eager to meet sales targets
✅ Ability to work well in a team

✔️ Qualifications & Experience

📌 Minimum Requirement: Grade 12 (Matric)
📌 Experience: 1-2 years in retail or customer service
📌 Bonus: Knowledge of sales techniques and stock management
