What You’ll Do as a General Assistant

Cleaning tables, the kitchen, and canteen after meals.

Attending training or meetings if needed.

What You Need to Have

You don’t need a university degree or lots of experience to apply. But there are a few things that will help you succeed in this role:

You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have completed Matric or a senior certificate.
You should be honest and reliable.
You must be someone who enjoys working with your hands.
You should be able to stand for long hours, bend, lift, and move quickly and safely.
You should be clean and tidy, especially when working with food.
You should have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
You need to be free from skin allergies to foods and detergents.
You must be able to work 45 to 50 hours a week.
