About the Job – What Will You Do?

As a General Worker at Mooiplaas Ranger Section, you’ll be working closely with rangers and other staff to help maintain the area. Your work will support vital park operations, including fire control, cleaning, waste removal, and more.

You’ll be doing important physical work, so you’ll need to be in good health and comfortable working outdoors in nature.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Your daily tasks may include:

• Fixing and maintaining water installations in the ranger area
• Helping during game capture operations
• Assisting with waste disposal and keeping the area clean
• Taking part in alien plant removal projects
• Helping with fire control and controlled burning
• Supporting anti-erosion activities to protect the land
• Doing general cleaning, maintenance, and repairs around the ranger post
• Helping with any other tasks given by your supervisor or management

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
• A valid Code B (car) driver’s license
• Be in good physical condition
