Heineken Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Warehouse Administrator Vacancies. The closing date for applications is 8 July 2025.

If you’re someone who’s good with organizing, managing tasks, and working with numbers, then this could be your big opportunity. Heineken, one of the world’s top beverage companies, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking person to join their team as a Warehouse Administrator. This job is permanent, meaning once you’re hired, you have a long-term place at Heineken.

What is This Job All About?

In this role, you’ll work at Heineken’s Distribution Centre (DC). Your main goal is to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll help with daily tasks like paperwork, reports, and checking that everything is going by the book. You’ll also play a key part in helping the team stick to budgets and follow rules.

This job is perfect for someone who is focused, organized, and enjoys working with documents, numbers, and systems. You won’t be managing people, but your role is super important because you support everyone else to do their jobs better.

What Will You Be Doing Every Day?

Here’s a simple breakdown of your daily tasks:

  • Handle all the paperwork and admin work in the warehouse.
  • Create purchase orders and make sure goods are received correctly.
  • Keep track of the money coming in and going out—very important!
  • Help with monthly and yearly budget planning.
  • Keep up with ISO standards (these are quality rules for big companies).
  • Double-check costs and help reduce extra spending.
  • Keep the list of company assets up to date.
  • Support with audits and make sure everything is done properly.
  • Create reports to help managers see how the business is doing.
  • Work closely with other teams like finance, procurement, and external partners (like auditors and logistics providers).

Who Will You Work With?

You’ll report to the Warehouse Manager, and although you won’t have any staff reporting to you, you’ll talk to many people daily:

  • Inside the Company: You’ll work with managers, finance teams, and the audit team.
  • Outside the Company: You’ll deal with service providers, logistics companies, and government organizations like SARS.

What Kind of Person is Heineken Looking For?

Heineken wants someone who:

  • Can stay calm and focused even when it gets busy.
  • Takes charge and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
  • Can solve problems by thinking carefully and using facts.
  • Always puts the customer first and does things right the first time.
  • Can plan their work well and finish tasks on time.

You should also be good at:

  • Paying attention to small details.
  • Keeping records neat and up to date.
  • Working well with others and speaking clearly.
  • Finding better ways to do things.
  • Adapting quickly when things change.

What Do You Need to Apply?

Before you hit the apply button, make sure you meet these requirements:

  • You must have a Diploma or Certificate (NQF Level 5 or 6) in Administration or Financial Management.
  • You need 3–5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse work—especially in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods).
  • You should be good at using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • You must have experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • You should know the basics about budgets, money management, and auditing.
  • Bonus: If you understand ISO standards and know a bit about tax and excise rules, that’s a plus!

Why Should You Apply?

Working at Heineken means joining a global company that values inclusion, diversity, and giving people a fair chance. If you’re living in South Africa and allowed to work there, you are encouraged to apply—especially if you are a person with a disability. Heineken has a strong Employment Equity Plan, which means they want to create opportunities for everyone.

This is your chance to join a top brand, gain stable long-term employment, and grow your career in one of the most exciting industries—beverages and distribution!
