This programme is designed to give practical work experience to students who have completed their Grade 12 or relevant N qualifications. As a Packaging Learner, you will gain hands-on experience in various packaging processes while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
At the end of this programme, you will be able to:
- Operate key packaging processes, including:
- Filling and date coding
- Sealing
- Packing and unpacking
- Labelling
- Perform first-line maintenance on packaging machinery.
- Solve production issues using problem-solving techniques.
- Apply health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain quality control in all packaging processes.
- Manage and maintain packaging assets effectively.
🎓 Job Requirements:
To qualify, you must have:
- South African Citizenship
- Matric (Grade 12) or relevant N qualifications with Pure Mathematics and English
- Strong technical orientation and ability
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
