Job Overview – What You Will Be Doing

As a General Worker at Heineken, you’ll be an important part of the team that keeps production running smoothly. Your tasks will include:

  • Keeping the workspace clean and safe
  • Cleaning machines and making sure everything is ready for production
  • Helping with change-overs when production switches from one product to another
  • Assisting with process control and checking quality during production
  • Operating machines occasionally if you are trained for it
  • Writing down process information and handling basic admin tasks
  • Keeping records up to date
  • Taking part in all team and business improvement activities

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can work in a team, and wants to grow within a large company. You will not be stuck at a desk all day—you’ll be active and moving, helping to make sure everything in the factory runs properly.

What You Need to Apply

To qualify for the General Worker position, here’s what you need:

  • A Grade 12 certificate (this is a must)
  • Experience in production or packaging is a bonus but not required
  • Any extra skills training will be an advantage
  • Willing to work shifts or longer hours when needed
  • Must have reliable transport to get to and from work
  • Good communication skills (speaking and writing)
  • You must understand how to work safely
  • Able to work on your own and stay calm under pressure
  • A team player who keeps the customer in mind
