Purpose of the Role:
As a Cleaner at Herotel, you’ll perform a variety of cleaning duties to keep our business premises tidy and well-maintained. Your main focus will be ensuring that all common areas, including restrooms, are clean and sanitary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic cleaning tasks in office buildings (dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, etc.)
- Spot cleaning glass, windows, and surfaces
- Disinfecting restrooms, door handles, and surfaces
- Refilling supplies like toilet paper and paper towels
- Cleaning up spills, broken glass, and other messes immediately
- Performing routine inspections to maintain cleanliness in all areas
- Reporting on low cleaning supplies and other maintenance needs

Required Skills and Experience:
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work per day
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to follow tasks independently
- Must pass a background check
Education Requirements
- No formal qualification required
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is advantageous
