What the VIP (Security Officer) Job Is About:

As a VIP Security Officer, your job is to make sure the environment is safe for everyone—staff and guests. You’ll be guarding the branch, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious, and making sure nothing goes wrong.

You’ll patrol the area, check for strange activities, and help stop theft or danger. You’ll also need to be alert when the branch opens and closes. Basically, you’ll be the first and last line of defence, making guests and staff feel secure.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:

Be ready 15 minutes before the branch opens.
Walk around the outside of the building before it opens to check for anything unusual.
Help the Branch Manager open and close the branch safely.
Watch closely for any suspicious behaviour throughout the day.
Patrol both inside and outside, including the parking area and back sections.
Make sure walkie-talkies and panic buttons are fully charged and working.
Use scanners to search guests as they enter.
Only male guards search male guests, and female guards search female guests.
Help manage traffic and keep the entrance safe.
Close one door at night to reduce risk when locking up.
Be part of morning meetings, stock checks, and safety alarm tests.
Send a daily report every morning by 10:00 am.

You are the face of Hollywoodbets. When guests walk in, you’re the first person they meet. That means:

Greet every guest politely. Say, “Good day, welcome to Hollywood.”
Always be helpful, kind, and respectful.
Handle complaints calmly and make sure they’re passed on to the right people.
Make guests feel welcome and safe.
Say goodbye as they leave and invite them to return again soon.

Follow the Rules:

To work as a VIP Officer at Hollywoodbets, you need to follow all rules very carefully:

Always wear your full uniform with name badge. That includes black shoes, black socks, and a white vest.
Don’t allow anyone under 18 inside.
No weapons or alcohol allowed (unless you’re a police officer on duty).
No personal bags for guests or staff.
If someone is acting difficult, don’t try to handle it alone—call for help and press the panic button.
No taking bets while wearing your uniform.
Don’t use the payout machine.

Code of Conduct (What You Should Not Do):

Never sit, eat, smoke, or use your phone while on duty.
Don’t come to work drunk or under the influence.
Don’t leave your post.
Don’t sleep on the job.
Avoid chatting casually with friends or team members while on duty.
Never accept tips from guests.

What You Must Have:

Registered with PSIRA
Security experience

Nice to Have:

A valid driver’s licence
