What is the Job About?

As a Betting Clerk, you will work in one of Hollywoodbets’ busy branches where you’ll help customers place bets, manage cash, handle payouts, and make sure everyone gets great service. You’ll also make sure that the shop runs smoothly by following company rules and keeping everything in order.

What Do You Need to Apply?

• 1–2 years of experience in the gaming or betting industry will help you a lot.
• Matric certificate is preferred.
• If you have a valid driver’s license, that’s a bonus.

Your Key Tasks Will Include:

1. Helping the Branch Grow

• Make sure all betting boards and results are always updated.
• Know all betting rules and odds – this helps give better advice to customers.
• If someone places a large bet, make sure to follow the steps by checking with your team leaders.

2. Sales and Admin Work

• Count money correctly and handle it safely.
• Be alert – always watch out for any suspicious activity to prevent fraud or theft.

3. Handling Cash

• Start each day with the right amount of money in your till.
• Do regular checks with your team leader to make sure everything adds up.
• If there are any cash shortages or mistakes, report them quickly and follow the process.

4. Keeping the Branch Looking Good

• Your work area must be neat and clean.
• Check that all machines (like the betting terminal and TV displays) are working properly.
• If anything isn’t working, let your team leader know right away.

5. Giving Excellent Customer Service

• Always be friendly, helpful, and polite to every customer.
• Solve problems quickly – customers should leave happy.
• Build relationships with regular customers and create a fun, welcoming space.

6. Following Rules and Staying Compliant

• Wear your proper Hollywoodbets uniform.
• Never place bets while on duty or in uniform.
• Always follow the company’s rules and never take credit bets.
• Only place personal bets when you are off duty and not in uniform.
