One of your main tasks will be receiving incoming stock. This includes offloading goods, checking quantities, and inspecting items for damage. You will compare deliveries against delivery notes to ensure everything is correct.
Any shortages, damages, or discrepancies must be reported immediately. Accuracy at this stage is very important, as mistakes can affect production later on.
After receiving stock, you will label items and place them in the correct warehouse locations. Proper storage helps prevent loss, damage, and confusion. It also makes it easier for other team members to find materials quickly when needed.
