Johannesburg Water invites suitably qualified graduates to apply for their 2025 Internship Programme across multiple disciplines (X6 Posts). The closing date for applications is 25 April 2025.

💼 What is the Johannesburg Water Internship Programme?

It’s a structured, full-time internship lasting 24 months, designed to help graduates learn on the job, build confidence, and become employable. You’ll be placed in one of Johannesburg Water’s key departments, where you’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects that matter.

Here are the departments and qualifications needed:

1. Metering and Revenue: Credit Management & Disconnections (1 Post)

📚 Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Data Administration

📚 Qualification: BCom in Supply Chain or BTech in Logistics

✅ Who Can Apply?

You must meet all of these requirements to qualify:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35
  • Be unemployed
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Have never participated in any other internship before
  • Be ready to commit to the full 24 months
  • Be passionate about learning and growing in the public sector
