Job Overview

Johannesburg Water is looking for 10 skilled Artisan Bricklayers to join their team for a one-year contract. If you have experience in bricklaying, paving, and construction, this is your chance to work on major water and sewer projects.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Build and repair water infrastructure (walls, steps, chambers, etc.)
✅ Lay bricks, paving, and concrete for roads, kerbs, and driveways
✅ Mix cement and construct forms for casting concrete slabs
✅ Ensure safety compliance (OHASA & SANS standards)
✅ Perform basic building maintenance and excavation work

Requirements

📌 Minimum Grade 10 or N1 (NQF2)
📌 Bricklaying trade certificate or NQF4 Learnership
📌 At least 3 years of experience in bricklaying and paving
📌 Basic supervisory skills (preferred)
📌 Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PrDP
