What Does a Merchandiser Do?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our stores look their best. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Stock Management: Count and document stock, unpack deliveries, and ensure everything is in its right place.
Product Display: Organize and display products attractively to catch the eye of our customers.
Creative Displays: Use your creativity to design seasonal and promotional displays that make our store pop!
Quality Control: Check for product damages and make sure our shelves are always stocked with fresh items.
Customer Interaction: Help customers find what they need and provide friendly advice on our products.

What You’ll Need to Apply

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Matric Certificate: You’ll need a National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in merchandising, sales, or customer service will be a big plus.
Proximity: You must live within 15 km of the store.
Smartphone: A personal smartphone is necessary for the job, as you’ll need it to upload important documents and communicate with the team.
Clean Record: A clear criminal record is a must.

While not mandatory, the following will give you an edge:

EE/AA Candidates: Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.
Languages: Being able to speak Sepedi or other local languages is a bonus.
