Kruger National Park is Hiring 2 Hut Attendants – Apply Now

Kruger National Park invites all suitably qualified and interested applicants to apply for the Hut Attendant Vacancies (2 Posts) available at the Olifants Rest Camp in the Nxanatseni Region. The closing date for submitting your application is 05 October 2025.

Work Location

The positions are based at Olifants Rest Camp, located inside the world-famous Kruger National Park.

Requirements to Qualify

To be considered for the Hut Attendant positions, you need to meet the following minimum requirements:

A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
Strong hygiene and housekeeping skills.
Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in the workplace.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Supervisory skills will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with tools, handling, and proper aftercare.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hut Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that visitors enjoy a clean and comfortable stay at the rest camp. Your duties will include:

Cleaning chalets, ablution facilities, and surrounding areas according to set standards.
Keeping track of inventory items and ensuring supplies are well managed.
Reporting any equipment faults or maintenance issues.
Assisting with the collection of supplies when needed.
Providing general support within the rest camp when required.
Helping with laundry duties to keep linens and other items clean for guest use.

This role requires someone who is reliable, hardworking, and passionate about cleanliness, as you will be directly contributing to the comfort and experience of Kruger National Park visitors.
