🩺 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Admissions Clerk, you’ll be the first friendly face that patients see when they arrive. You’ll handle admissions, documentation, billing, and queries – making sure every patient starts their journey with a smooth and stress-free experience.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and admit patients at the main reception and trauma area
• Collect and make copies of documents (Doctor’s notes, ID, Medical Aid card)
• Obtain and confirm medical aid authorizations
• Enter ICD codes and ensure accurate admission records
• Print patient labels and forms for the wards
• Bill medication for private trauma patients
• Discharge patients and process accommodation billing
• Collect and post deposits/payments accurately
• Assist patients with file requests and ensure payment is received

🧠 What You’ll Need to Apply

✅ Matric Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4)
✅ Previous medical admin experience (advantageous)
✅ Calm under pressure – especially in emergency situations
✅ Excellent communication and people skills
✅ Computer literacy is a must
✅ Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours
