About the Role

As a Customer Assistant, your main responsibility is to ensure that customers have a smooth, satisfying experience every time they visit the store. You will provide accurate product information, resolve customer queries, and assist with purchases, exchanges, and returns. Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and act as a host/hostess to every customer visiting the store.

  • Assist with orders, exchanges, refunds, and cash-back transactions.
  • Manage the store’s loyalty program and customer records.
  • Ensure minimal complaints by providing reliable and friendly service.
  • Follow all internal control procedures, including till policies.
  • Maintain efficiency to reduce customer waiting time.
  • Enhance the quality of service through attention to detail and professional interactions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Retail experience is preferred, but customer service experience is also valuable.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional, friendly, and empathetic approach.
    • Self-confidence and a strong work ethic.
    • Proficiency in English.
  • Personality: Friendly, helpful, engaging, and passionate about serving customers.
