Why You Should Apply

This programme offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn your skills into a recognized qualification. Many skilled individuals in South Africa have years of practical experience but cannot progress in their careers due to the lack of formal certification. The ARPL initiative bridges that gap by validating your expertise and helping you qualify as an official artisan.

By applying, you will:

  • Gain a nationally recognized qualification through the ARPL assessment process.
  • Improve your employment prospects and open doors to better-paying opportunities.
  • Strengthen your position in the technical job market, where skilled artisans are always in demand.
  • Contribute to economic growth by using your certified skills in community and infrastructure projects.
  • Receive formal acknowledgment for years of hard work and dedication.

This programme isn’t just a training opportunity — it’s a career transformation pathway for those who have built their expertise through real-world experience.

Placement and Future Opportunities

Successful applicants will be placed at various sites across Limpopo, where they will undergo the ARPL assessment process to earn their artisan qualification. This certification will allow candidates to register as qualified artisans and gain access to more professional work opportunities, contracts, and recognition in their respective industries.

Graduates of the programme can go on to work for private companies, government departments, or start their own businesses, using their certification as proof of their competence and experience.
