About the Family and the Role

The family is looking for a dedicated and warm-hearted nanny to care for their two daughters — a 13-month-old girl and a newborn baby due in December 2025. The position is based in Waterfall, and working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:30.

The older child is full of life — a cheerful, active little girl who loves music and exploring her world. The family is looking for someone who will not only care for their children but also help them grow, learn, and have fun through play and early learning activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The nanny’s day will include full care and supervision of both children. You will be responsible for:

Providing educational play and stimulation for both children.
Taking care of nappy changes, bottle feeding, and snack preparation.
Preparing healthy meals and managing children’s daily routines.
Organizing age-appropriate playtime and activities.
Running light household errands, including grocery shopping and basic meal preparation.
Assisting the family with local and international travel — all costs will be covered by the family.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this nanny position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

At least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience (not including caring for family or friends).
Experience must be within the last two years.
Must have a reliable car and at least 18 months of driving experience.
Must provide two contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record.
Must hold a Matric certificate.
Must have a valid South African ID.
Must have a genuine love for children and a desire to help them grow.
