They are hiring for Cashier and Shop Assistant positions on a flexible contract basis. That means you’ll have the chance to work different hours that fit your lifestyle while gaining valuable work experience.

As a Cashier, you’ll help customers at the till, scan their items, and make sure they leave happy. As a Shop Assistant, you’ll be working on the floor – packing shelves, arranging displays, and keeping everything neat and tidy.

Every day will be different. One moment you’re helping a customer, the next you’re organizing stock. You’ll never be bored in this job.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cashier Duties:

• Handle customer payments at the till quickly and correctly
• Keep your till area clean and organized
• Help customers with their questions and product choices
• Let managers know if there are product issues or stock shortages
• Help count inventory during stock take
• Follow cash handling rules to avoid mistakes

Shop Assistant Duties:

• Keep the shelves full and neat with the right products
• Follow display plans to make products look great
• Unpack new stock and recycle boxes
• Follow safety rules while working
• Make the store look good for every customer

Who Can Apply?

You don’t need years of experience to apply, but you must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• Some retail experience is a bonus, but not a must
• A positive attitude and love for helping people
• Good at working on your own and in a team
• Can manage your time and follow store rules
• Able to talk clearly and kindly to customers
• Willing to clean, carry stock, and be active on your feet
