Midas is looking for a hardworking and reliable General Worker/Driver to help with daily warehouse tasks and deliveries. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Warehouse Duties – picking, packing, binning, stock-taking, and ensuring the warehouse is always clean and organized.
✅ Vehicle Inspections – checking the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any issues.
✅ Delivery of Goods – making sure all orders reach customers on time and in good condition.
✅ Paperwork Management – ensuring all delivery documents, invoices, and proof of delivery (POD) are correctly handled.
✅ Scanner Control – issuing, inspecting, and tracking scanners used for stock management.

✔️ Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent literacy/numeracy skills
✔️ At least 3 years of experience in deliveries
✔️ 3+ years of warehouse/logistics experience (preferred)
✔️ Valid driver’s license with PDP (essential)
✔️ Knowledge of motor/spare parts and warehouse systems
✔️ Strong attention to detail – ensure accurate deliveries and stock handling.
✔️ Good time management – work efficiently to meet deadlines.
✔️ Physically fit – must be able to lift and move heavy items.
✔️ Team player – work well with colleagues and supervisors.
✔️ Honest and reliable – integrity is a must in handling stock and deliveries.
✔️ Ability to work under pressure – handle busy delivery schedules and customer expectations.
✔️ Good communication skills – interact professionally with customers and team members.
✔️ Clear criminal record – required for security and trustworthiness.
🔹 Binning & Stock Management:
✔️ Organize incoming stock and allocate bin locations.
✔️ Keep inventory updated and ensure efficient replenishment.
✔️ Assist with stock-takes and quality checks.
🔹 Picking & Packing:
✔️ Pick and pack customer orders accurately and on time.
✔️ Prevent inventory losses by handling stock carefully.
🔹 Scanner Control:
✔️ Issue and track barcode scanners for stock processing.
✔️ Report any damages or malfunctions to supervisors.
🔹 Vehicle Inspections:
✔️ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
✔️ Report any mechanical issues immediately.
🔹 Loading & Delivery:
✔️ Double-check parcels with the supervisor before loading.
✔️ Deliver stock according to the assigned route and trip schedule.
✔️ Follow customer proof of delivery (POD) procedures.
✔️ Return all signed documents and trip sheets daily.
🔹 Security & Compliance:
✔️ Follow all company policies and procedures for deliveries and stock management.
✔️ Ensure no unauthorized stock transfers between stores.
