What This Job Is About

The main job of a Data Capturer is to make sure all the information on the company’s systems is correct and updated. At Momentum, you’ll be working with the OWLS database to keep track of things like member details, broker info, service provider contacts, and more. You’ll be making sure nothing is wrong or missing.

The job is part of the administration team at Admed, which is a part of Momentum. You’ll be helping the business run smoothly by making sure all the data stays clean, correct, and up to date. That means you’ll have a very important role!


What You Need to Apply

To get this job, you don’t need a college degree. All you need is:

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • At least 6 months of experience in data capturing

If you’ve worked in admin or customer service before, that will also help.


What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

As a Data Capturer at Momentum, here are some of the tasks you’ll handle:

  • Update member and client information on the OWLS database when new info is received from employer groups, brokers, or other departments.
  • Check emails daily, especially from the Admed.donotreply mailbox, to find bounced emails. Then, call those members to get correct contact details.
  • Talk to clients on the phone or by email when there’s missing or incorrect information.
  • Help with new member applications when there’s a lot coming in.
  • Work professionally with team members, brokers, and customers.
  • Make sure clients don’t face problems when they want to change services, send in a claim, or fix details. This is part of the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy.
