When the truck reaches its destination, the Driver’s Assistant helps unload the products and ensure they match the Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
Sometimes products need to be returned. In these cases, the Driver’s Assistant helps pack and organize the returned stock carefully.
The role also involves helping the driver with paperwork, delivery confirmations, and general assistance during trips.
Workers may be asked to pick stock from the warehouse and stack it properly according to company procedures.
