✅ Minimum Requirements

To apply, you must meet these basic requirements:

Matric (High School Diploma)
2-3 years of experience in restaurant management
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lead and manage a team
Excellent communication skills
Solid understanding of restaurant operations

✅ Preference will be given to candidates who have:

More than 3 years of restaurant management experience
A valid driver’s license and their own vehicle

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Financial Management

Ensure proper financial administration based on Nando’s policies
Control expenses and maximize profit margins
Reduce stock wastage and pilferage
Monitor and improve key business performance indicators, such as:
- Sales growth (compared to last year & budget)
- Gross Profit
- Customer count & satisfaction
- Labor costs vs. revenue

2️⃣ Operational Management

Manage stock control daily
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Cleaning & Hygiene, and Maintenance standards
Help develop plans to improve audit results
Enforce Nando’s operational standards and requirements

3️⃣ People Management

Oversee weekly work schedules to ensure the right team size for smooth operations
Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new employees
Monitor attendance and shift adherence
Enforce disciplinary policies fairly and effectively
Provide feedback to team members to help them grow and improve
Ensure all staff members are trained and certified in Nando’s processes and procedures
