✅ Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must meet these basic requirements:
- Matric (High School Diploma)
- 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations
✅ Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- More than 3 years of restaurant management experience
- A valid driver’s license and their own vehicle
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Financial Management
- Ensure proper financial administration based on Nando’s policies
- Control expenses and maximize profit margins
- Reduce stock wastage and pilferage
- Monitor and improve key business performance indicators, such as:
- Sales growth (compared to last year & budget)
- Gross Profit
- Customer count & satisfaction
- Labor costs vs. revenue
2️⃣ Operational Management
- Manage stock control daily
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Cleaning & Hygiene, and Maintenance standards
- Help develop plans to improve audit results
- Enforce Nando’s operational standards and requirements
3️⃣ People Management
- Oversee weekly work schedules to ensure the right team size for smooth operations
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new employees
- Monitor attendance and shift adherence
- Enforce disciplinary policies fairly and effectively
- Provide feedback to team members to help them grow and improve
- Ensure all staff members are trained and certified in Nando’s processes and procedures
