✅ Minimum Requirements

To apply, you must meet these basic requirements:

  • Matric (High School Diploma)
  • 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • More than 3 years of restaurant management experience
  • A valid driver’s license and their own vehicle

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Financial Management

  • Ensure proper financial administration based on Nando’s policies
  • Control expenses and maximize profit margins
  • Reduce stock wastage and pilferage
  • Monitor and improve key business performance indicators, such as:
    • Sales growth (compared to last year & budget)
    • Gross Profit
    • Customer count & satisfaction
    • Labor costs vs. revenue

2️⃣ Operational Management

  • Manage stock control daily
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Cleaning & Hygiene, and Maintenance standards
  • Help develop plans to improve audit results
  • Enforce Nando’s operational standards and requirements

3️⃣ People Management

  • Oversee weekly work schedules to ensure the right team size for smooth operations
  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new employees
  • Monitor attendance and shift adherence
  • Enforce disciplinary policies fairly and effectively
  • Provide feedback to team members to help them grow and improve
  • Ensure all staff members are trained and certified in Nando’s processes and procedures
