What’s the Job About?

As a Cleaner at NECSA, your job is to keep the buildings and workspaces clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is more than just sweeping floors — your work directly supports health and safety standards and helps create a clean, professional environment for everyone on site.

You’ll be working as part of the Facilities Management Department, responsible for different areas of the NECSA site, including offices, communal areas, and possibly high-security workspaces.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining office facilities
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all assigned areas
• Stocking restrooms and common spaces with necessary supplies
• Disposing of trash and waste properly
• Performing deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks when required
• Reporting any repairs or broken items to management
• Following all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) rules
• Ensuring compliance with NECSA’s Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) standards

You may also be asked to assist with special cleaning projects or support emergency cleaning when needed.

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar cleaning job

You should also have:

• The ability to operate heavy cleaning machines and tools
• Knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals
• A basic understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
