Nedbank Conference Centre Receptionist

As a Receptionist, you are the friendly first contact for visitors and callers. You will help keep the conference centre running smoothly and foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects Nedbank’s values.

What Will You Do as a Conference Centre Receptionist?

  • Provide client-focused reception services to support Nedbank’s business goals.
  • Help build a positive, inclusive culture by participating in transformation and culture initiatives.

  • Maintain a professional and pleasant reception area by managing visitor flow and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ensure meetings run smoothly by coordinating boardroom bookings, catering, and room preparation.
  • Follow all internal and external policies, regulations, and governance requirements.
  • Help meet financial goals by managing activities within the budget.
  • Reduce costs by working efficiently and avoiding waste.
  • Handle customer queries and issues in a professional, client-centered way to protect Nedbank’s reputation.
  • Receive and direct visitors politely and professionally.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Manage calls, handle requests, and provide general assistance.

What Qualifications and Experience Do You Need?

  • Grade 12 / Matric / National Senior Certificate
  • .
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in secretarial or administrative roles.
  • Good knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of data analysis basics.
  • Familiarity with Nedbank policies, procedures, vision, and strategy.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business writing skills.
