Position 1: Cashier Job at Pedros

Job Purpose:
As a cashier at Pedros, you will be the friendly face that helps customers pay for their meals quickly and correctly. Your main job will be to handle sales at the till (cash register), make customers feel welcome, and keep things running smoothly.

Your daily duties will include:

• Greeting customers and taking their orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Making sure payments are processed correctly (cash, card, etc.)
• Keeping service fast and efficient, especially during busy hours
• Sharing info about current deals or promotions
• Suggesting other items to help boost sales (like a dessert or drink)
• Keeping the counter clean and tidy
• Making sure the stock in the front (like sauces, napkins, etc.) is full

What you’ll need:

• Grade 12 (matric) is preferred but not always required
• Must be able to read and do basic maths well
• At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-food or similar store is helpful
• You should be friendly, polite, and willing to learn

Position 2: Waiter Job at Pedros

Job Purpose:
As a waiter, you’ll be one of the people who bring the dining experience to life. You’ll serve food and drinks, make sure the customers are happy, and help with anything they need during their meal.

Your daily duties will include:

• Standing and walking around the restaurant during your shift
• Carrying food and drinks safely to tables
• Helping set up and clean tables
• Talking to customers in a polite and friendly way
• Working fast and paying attention to detail
• Having good eyesight to check orders and spot any problems early

What you’ll need:

• Grade 10 is required
• Grade 12 (matric) is a bonus
• Must be able to read, write, and calculate basic numbers
• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter helps, but not a must
• You need to be physically fit, friendly, and work well with others
