What You’ll Be Doing as a Pedros Cashier:

In this role, you will help make sure every customer leaves happy. Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

Processing orders quickly and correctly using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Making sure customer service is top-notch at all times.
Handling payments correctly – whether cash, card, or voucher – following company rules.
Promoting specials and telling customers about new menu items or deals.
Upselling: Encouraging customers to try other items (like drinks, chips, or desserts) to increase sales.
Keeping the front counter clean and tidy, following hygiene and safety standards.
Making sure stock levels at the counter (like sauces, serviettes, etc.) are well maintained and ready for the next shift.

What You Need to Apply:

You don’t need years of experience to apply. Pedros is looking for people who:

Have a Senior Certificate / Matric (preferred but not always required).
Have good communication and math skills – you should be comfortable talking to people and working with money.
Have at least 1 year of experience working as a cashier. If that experience is in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) like Pedros, KFC, or McDonald’s, that’s a bonus.
Are friendly, fast, and reliable.
Can work under pressure, especially during busy times like lunch and dinner.
Are neat and take hygiene seriously.
