What Will You Be Doing as a PEP Home Store Manager?

As a Store Manager, your job is to make sure your store runs smoothly and successfully. You’ll be responsible for everything from staff training to sales, stock control, and even admin. Your daily tasks will include:

Increasing sales by offering top-notch customer service and keeping the store looking its best
Managing stock, making sure the store is full, neat, and ready for shoppers
Handling promotions and making sure they’re displayed properly
Stopping stock loss by encouraging a healthy team culture and following safety and money-handling rules
Keeping costs low by finding smart ways to save time and money in the store
Doing admin duties like reports and schedules in line with company rules
Leading your team, training and guiding your staff to be their best
Maintaining safety standards and keeping the store clean and organised

Who Can Apply?

To become a PEP Home Store Manager, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)
You must be comfortable speaking and writing in English
A tertiary qualification (degree or diploma in retail or business) is a bonus
1 to 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
You should be computer literate — knowing how to use Microsoft or Google GSuite helps
