What You Will Be Doing

As a Sales Assistant at PEP, your daily tasks will include:

Greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as soon as they walk into the store.
Helping customers find products, giving accurate information, and suggesting additional items they might like.
Promoting current sales and special offers to improve the customer’s shopping experience.
Operating the cash register accurately and following company rules when handling payments.
Processing payments, returns, and exchanges in a professional and friendly manner.
Keeping the store neat, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
Receiving and unpacking stock deliveries and making sure everything is correctly recorded and displayed.
Assisting with stock ordering and ensuring shelves are always full.
Following security and handling procedures to reduce stock losses.
Working as part of a team to make the store efficient, cost-effective, and customer-friendly.
Staying informed about new products and updates so you can provide the best customer service.
Reaching set sales targets and consistently improving your performance.

What You Need to Qualify

To apply for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

A Matric certificate (Grade 12).
Previous experience in one or more of these roles: cashier, sales assistant, retail associate, general worker, or similar retail positions.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Live within 15 km of the store location.
Have a clear criminal record.

Being a South African citizen.
Computer literacy.
A genuine passion for retail and delivering excellent customer service.
Being between the ages of 20 and 35.
