You will also maintain a merchandising list that helps track exactly what samples are in your hands. This is used to make sure you always know where every product is and who needs it next. Once the studio has finished doing photography, the samples need to be returned to the Buyers on time, and you will keep records of all sample movements.

Another part of your job will be to follow the product inflow dates given by the buying team. These dates guide when campaigns will be shot and when samples need to reach the studio.

Supporting the Campaign While It’s Running

During the active campaign period, your work becomes even more important. You will make sure the in-flow timelines are met, meaning everything arrives at the right time. Tracking samples properly becomes a daily responsibility so that nothing goes missing.

You will help ensure that every product is represented correctly on the website. This includes making sure the sample used for photography matches what buyers will see online. You will also assist with briefing the marketing team so that all planned e-commerce activities run smoothly.

Cross-team communication is also part of your work. Retail and online marketing change fast, and you will help close the communication gap to make everyone’s job easier.

Handling General Administration

The Sample Administrator position requires someone who can manage several tasks at once, especially with tight deadlines.
