What Will You Do?
As the Liquor Store Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the store. Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Stock Management: You’ll manage inventory to maximize gross margins and profits, ensuring the store is well-stocked with a wide variety of products.
- Operational Standards: Maintaining high operating standards is key, including hygiene and safety within the store.
- Customer Interaction: You’ll approach and advise customers in a professional manner, ensuring they have a great shopping experience.
- Order Placement: Manage the ordering process to ensure the store is always stocked with the latest and greatest products.
- Frontline Management: Oversee all POS (Point of Sale) activities, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
- Hygiene and Safety: You’ll ensure that the store meets all hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards.
- Security Procedures: Adhere to and enforce security procedures to prevent shrinkage, wastage, and damages.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage employees, ensuring they are competent, well-trained, and enthusiastic.
- Administrative Duties: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time, keeping the store’s operations running smoothly.

What Do You Need to Apply?
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: A Grade 12 (Standard 10) / N3 or equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably within a department.
