👕 About the Role: What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be the Store Manager’s right hand—helping to run the store smoothly, lead the team, and drive success. You’ll step in when the Store Manager is away and be responsible for keeping standards high and operations running efficiently.

Your key duties will include:

• Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Handling banking and cash office duties.
• Ensuring high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, and stock management.
• Helping to control shrinkage, security, and discipline.
• Supporting the management of staff, including rosters, motivation, and productivity.
• Driving excellent customer service and improving the overall shopping experience.
• Launching and managing sales initiatives to help your store reach and exceed targets.
• Enforcing front-end control systems and company procedures.
• Acting with integrity, proactiveness, and professionalism at all times.

✅ What You’ll Need to Apply

To be considered for the Assistant Store Manager position at Power Fashion, you must have:

• Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is a bonus!) or NQF Level 4.
• Previous experience in managing people or leading a department.
• Prior experience in a retail clothing environment is a major advantage.
• Strong communication, administration, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stock loss, staff performance, and store standards.
• You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly ethical with great integrity.
