What You’ll Be Doing

Banking of Money:

You’ll handle the banking of money, ensuring accuracy and security.

Relieve Store Manager:

In the Store Manager’s absence, you’ll take charge and ensure the store runs smoothly.

Maintain Company Standards:

Uphold our high standards in housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security.

Ensure Compliance:

Make sure all company procedures are followed correctly.

Assist in Staff Management:

Help the Store Manager with managing the team and ensuring everyone is performing well.

Front End Controls:

Ensure that front end controls are in place and functioning effectively.

Oversee Cash Office:

Oversee the operations of the cash office to ensure everything is in order.

Minimize Stock Loss:

Implement strategies to reduce stock loss and maintain inventory accuracy.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service and address any issues that arise.

Sales Initiatives:

Introduce and drive sales initiatives to help the store meet its targets.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is an advantage) or NQF Level 4.
Previous experience managing people.
Previous experience managing a department.
Experience in clothing retail is highly advantageous.
