Assist with deliveries of Premier Products with a strong focus on maintaining and growing volumes through customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Bread Sales
- Loading and off-loading of bread
- Monitoring of stock
- Products picked according to invoice
- Shelves packed according to SOP
- Quality of bread is checked – no damaged bread is delivered to customers, damaged bread separated as procedure
- Damaged crates are separated as per procedure
- Damaged items are reported to Salesman Driver
- Ensure crates are returned daily according to SOP
- Ensure proper product handling to reduce returns and damages
- Customer communication is enforced to ensure correct ordering and management of crates at customer
- Safe working practices
Qualification Requirements
Grade 12 (with Maths being advantageous for career development)
Experience Requirements
- Valid code C1 license & PDP – essential
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry with emphasis on customer service FMCG background and sound knowledge of bread
Other Requirements
- Pressurised environment
- 6-day position
- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays and 24/7 standby
- Works with heavy products/ equipment – physical strength
- Required to work long hours

Maintenance Team Leader
Responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and functioning of all infrastructure at Tunney, providing technical support, Maintenance of asset and assist in ensuring compliance of machinery (OHSA and Regulations).
Qualification Requirements
- Matric
- Trade Qualification (Millwright)
- Registered Artisan (Dept of Labour) (Red Seal)
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years’ in relevant trade e.g. electrician, fitter, millwright
- 2 years’ supervisory experience – advantageous
- 5 years’ experience in a FMCG environment
Key Outputs
- GMR 2(7) Appointee, Assisting with the overall supervisor of machinery GMR2(1) in ensuring the operation of all machinery in the workplace complies with the OHS Act and its regulations.
- Assist with audits as GMR 2(7) appointee
- Ensure that all maintenance work is of an acceptable standard
- Attend supervisor production meetings
- Assist stores with making sure critical spares are available
