What Does a General Worker Do?

As a General Worker in the warehouse, you’ll be helping the team make sure that products are packed, stored, and moved correctly and safely. This work keeps the warehouse running smoothly, so stores always have products to sell and customers get their goods on time.

Here’s a simple breakdown of your daily tasks:

Pack products according to set guidelines.
Help keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Follow safe working procedures at all times.
Wash company trucks when needed.
Stack pallets correctly to avoid damage.
Pick stock and prepare it for delivery.

What Are The Minimum Requirements?

To qualify for this job, you need:

Grade 12 certificate (Matric).

At least 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
