🔍 What Is the PSiRA YES Internship Programme?

PSiRA is a government entity that regulates South Africa’s private security industry. In partnership with the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative, PSiRA is offering a graduate internship programme that gives young people real-world experience in fields like Finance and Law Enforcement Administration.

The programme is available at PSiRA’s head office in Centurion and other Gauteng-based offices. It runs for 12 months and provides structured workplace training, helping you develop the skills and confidence to succeed in the professional world.

💼 Internship Positions & Stipends

You’ll be placed in a department related to your qualification. Here’s what’s available:

1. Finance: Debt Collection – Centurion, Gauteng

If you studied accounting or anything finance-related, this is for you!

Accepted Qualifications (NQF Level 6–8):

  • Accounting
  • Financial Management
  • Auditing
  • Credit Management
  • Cost & Management Accounting
  • Public Finance
  • Accounting Sciences
  • Any other finance-related qualification

Stipend by Qualification Level:

  • NQF Level 6: R5,000 per month
  • NQF Level 7: R6,000 per month
  • NQF Level 8: R7,000 per month

2. Law Enforcement Administration – Gauteng

Perfect for graduates in admin, management, or public service-related fields.

Accepted Qualifications (NQF Level 6–8):

  • Public Management
  • Public Administration
  • Business Management
  • Business Administration
  • Office Management & Technology
  • Any other equivalent admin or public sector qualification

Stipend by Qualification Level:

  • NQF Level 6: R5,000
  • NQF Level 7: R6,000
  • NQF Level 8: R7,000

✅ Who Can Apply?

If you meet the following requirements, you’re eligible to apply:

  • ✅ You are a South African citizen
  • ✅ You are between 18 and 35 years old
  • ✅ You have a completed qualification relevant to the position
  • ✅ You have NOT participated in the YES Programme or any other similar internship before
  • ✅ You are available for the full 12-month internship period

📋 What Will You Be Doing?

Interns will gain real work experience under the guidance of professionals. You’ll be involved in:
