Job Overview:

Position: Shop Assistant
Location: Western Cape (Bayside, Bellville Kruskal Avenue, Fish Hoek, Eerste Rivier, Pickbell Arcade, Outshoorn St John, Zevenwacht Polka Draai)
Reports to: Store Leader
Primary Industry: Fashion Retail

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations:

Ensure all operations run smoothly according to Rage Policies and Procedures.
Maintain high store standards, including housekeeping and tidiness at all times.
Receive, check, and unpack stock, ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
Assist in maintaining visual displays and layouts to Rage standards.
Help process Pack up lists, Recalls, and execute Markdown instructions.
Conduct unit counts weekly and help minimize stock unit losses.
Ensure stockroom standards are upheld as instructed by the Store Manager.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to all walk-in and telephonic customers.
Open new accounts and assist customers in filling out details.
Assist customers with their needs and ensure their shopping experience is positive.

Support Tasks:

Help the Store Manager achieve monthly set targets.
Ensure fire exits and escape routes are free from obstructions.
Participate actively in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Retail experience is beneficial.
Must reside in the Western Cape, preferably in one of the listed areas: Bayside, Bellville Kruskal Avenue, Fish Hoek, Eerste Rivier, Pickbell Arcade, Outshoorn St John, Zevenwacht Polka Draai.
