If you are looking for a stable permanent job in a well-known food manufacturing company, this opportunity could be the breakthrough you have been waiting for. RCL Foods is growing fast and needs dedicated packers to help keep their beverage production running smoothly. This role is ideal for young job seekers, school leavers with Grade 12, and anyone who wants to build a strong future in manufacturing.
Working as a packer means you become part of a team that helps deliver food and beverages to thousands of people every day. Your work matters because it helps feed families and support communities.

This packer role is based in the RCL Foods Beverages operating unit, where products are packed and prepared for delivery to stores and customers.
A packer works on the production line and makes sure that finished products are packed correctly, safely, and neatly. This job requires focus, energy, and attention to detail.
You will be working with cooled products, packing them into crates, placing crates onto pallets, checking dates and labels, and keeping the work area clean and safe. You may also work shifts depending on production needs.
You will pack cooled products into crates according to the correct size and quantity. This ensures that every order is prepared properly and ready for storage or delivery.
After packing the crates, you will stack them onto pallets in a safe and organised way. This helps prevent damage and makes transportation easier.
You must verify best-before dates and label stickers on products. This is very important for food safety and quality.
Each day, you will check the production plan to see what products need to be packed on the line. This helps the team stay organised and meet targets.
If you see damaged or faulty products or materials, you must remove them immediately to avoid quality problems.
Good housekeeping is part of your job. You must keep your work area clean and tidy at all times.
You must attend safety programs and follow workplace safety rules. This includes wearing protective clothing and following food safety standards.
Any food safety or quality problems must be reported to management right away. This protects customers and the company.
You are encouraged to share ideas that can improve work processes, speed, and safety.
You must be willing to work shifts as required by the company.
This job helps you develop useful skills that can support your future career.
