📌 Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shop Assistant Cashier, your main goal is to make sure customers have a great shopping experience. Here’s what you’ll do:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
Process purchases quickly and accurately at the checkout.
Promote store deals and special offers to encourage more sales.
Answer customer phone calls and assist with inquiries.
Keep the store clean, neat, and well-stocked at all times.
Check that product prices are correct and shelves are properly arranged.
Receive and unpack new stock to ensure everything is in place.
Follow safety and security rules to keep the store safe for everyone.
Handle cash and card payments carefully to avoid errors.
Help with daily banking tasks and other store operations.
Work as part of a team to meet sales targets and keep things running smoothly.

📋 Job Requirements: What You Need to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
At least some experience in retail, cashier work, customer service, or sales
Live within 15km of the store location
Clear criminal record
