The Officer: Legal Administration plays a key role in assisting with claims settlement processes, ensuring legal documentation is processed, filed, and administered efficiently. The goal is to promote quicker resolution of disputes outside of court, saving time and resources while ensuring claimants receive the justice they deserve.
π Key Responsibilities
π Legal Administration
- Proofread and transcribe legal documents used in claim settlements.
- Organize and update case files with all relevant legal directives.
- Retrieve and manage legal information on request.
- Administer the arbitration process for disputes.
- Coordinate and schedule hearing sessions.
- Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality at all times.
- Track and follow up on claim-related matters.
- Document settlement discussions and keep an action log.
- File all settlement agreements accurately.
π Block Settlements
- Organize block settlement meetings.
- Manage all court-related documentation and keep accurate records.
- Schedule and monitor court appearances and related processes.
- Summarize and explain decisions regarding claim offers.
π Reporting
- Assist in compiling progress and compliance reports.
- Submit regular updates that support management decision-making.
π€ Stakeholder Engagement
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships to streamline claims processing.
π Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Legal Administration environment, ideally involving civil litigation, personal injury, or third-party compensation claims.
