🔥 Job Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, your main job will be to prevent loss and ensure the safety of our premises. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Controlling Access & Exits – Registering and monitoring everyone entering or leaving the premises.
✅ Conducting Security Checks – Searching pedestrians, vehicles, and personal belongings when necessary.
✅ Monitoring PPE Compliance – Ensuring all visitors wear required safety gear and return it after their visit.
✅ Checking Documentation – Making sure any items leaving the premises have the correct paperwork.
✅ Breathalyzer Tests – Conducting mandatory alcohol tests for staff when required.
✅ Gate & Patrol Duties – Keeping gates manned and regularly patrolling assigned areas.
✅ Following Security Procedures – Enforcing company policies and reporting any security violations.

✅ What You Need to Apply

✔️ Minimum 5 years of security experience – Previous experience in security is required.
✔️ PSIRA Registration (Minimum Grade C) – Must be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority.
✔️ Grade 12 (Matric) or Equivalent – Strong numeracy and literacy skills are a plus.
✔️ Willingness to Work Shifts – Including day and night shifts, weekends, and overtime.
✔️ Excellent Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
