About the Programme

The Sandvik Artisan Bridge Learnership is a structured programme that helps qualified artisans gain practical exposure in mining machine maintenance and rebuilds. It’s designed to bridge the gap between basic qualification and real industry experience — preparing you for success in the mining engineering field.

Learners will work with advanced technologies, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and gain valuable insights into maintaining high-performance industrial machines used across the globe.

What You’ll Do

As a learner, your responsibilities will include:

Following company policies and conditions in your training agreement.
Performing assigned duties safely and professionally.
Completing all modules, training tasks, and assessments on time.
Keeping accurate training records and presenting them when required.
Maintaining workplace discipline and a strong work ethic.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the following:

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science.
N2 Certificate in Engineering Studies (compulsory).
Qualified Millwright or Electrician.
Valid Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate with proof of modules, apprenticeship, or POE.
Medically fit for work in a mining environment.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (certificate required).

Preference will be given to candidates from these areas:
Secunda, Ogies, Middelburg, Ulundi, Witbank, Delmas, Piet Retief, Burgersfort, Lydenburg, Springbok, Kathu, and Lime Acres.
