About the Programme

The Sandvik Artisan Bridge Learnership is a structured programme that helps qualified artisans gain practical exposure in mining machine maintenance and rebuilds. It’s designed to bridge the gap between basic qualification and real industry experience — preparing you for success in the mining engineering field.

Learners will work with advanced technologies, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and gain valuable insights into maintaining high-performance industrial machines used across the globe.

What You’ll Do

As a learner, your responsibilities will include:

• Following company policies and conditions in your training agreement.
• Performing assigned duties safely and professionally.
• Completing all modules, training tasks, and assessments on time.
• Keeping accurate training records and presenting them when required.
• Maintaining workplace discipline and a strong work ethic.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the following:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science.
• N2 Certificate in Engineering Studies (compulsory).
• Qualified Millwright or Electrician.
• Valid Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate with proof of modules, apprenticeship, or POE.
• Medically fit for work in a mining environment.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (certificate required).

Preference will be given to candidates from these areas:
Secunda, Ogies, Middelburg, Ulundi, Witbank, Delmas, Piet Retief, Burgersfort, Lydenburg, Springbok, Kathu, and Lime Acres.
