SANPARKS EPWP Programme: 2 X Skilled Environmental Monitors

SANParks invites qualified candidates to apply for 2 Skilled Environmental Monitor positions under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) at Groenkloof National Park. This fixed-term contract runs until 31 March 2026, offering a daily wage of R311.00. The closing date to apply is 14 November 2025.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• 1 to 2 years of cleaning experience.
• Experience with stock taking.
• Knowledge of First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
• Good hygiene habits.
• Be punctual, neat, and responsible.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Follow OHS regulations strictly.

What You Will Do

• Clean offices, restrooms, reception areas, hallways, and outdoor spaces daily.
• Prepare boardrooms and meeting areas, including setting up refreshments.
• Report any problems and ensure they are fixed.
• Handle lost property following established rules.
• Empty waste bins and move waste to designated disposal points.
• Manage cleaning supplies responsibly.
• Keep cleaning standards high at all times.
• Follow emergency and relief schedules as directed by your supervisor.
• Replenish consumables like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Help with stock issuing, receiving, and inventory.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
