SANPARKS EPWP Programme: 2 X Skilled Environmental Monitors

SANParks invites qualified candidates to apply for 2 Skilled Environmental Monitor positions under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) at Groenkloof National Park. This fixed-term contract runs until 31 March 2026, offering a daily wage of R311.00. The closing date to apply is 14 November 2025.

Groenkloof National Park (Head Office), Pretoria.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 certificate.
1 to 2 years of cleaning experience.
Experience with stock taking.
Knowledge of First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Good hygiene habits.
Be punctual, neat, and responsible.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Follow OHS regulations strictly.

What You Will Do

Clean offices, restrooms, reception areas, hallways, and outdoor spaces daily.
Prepare boardrooms and meeting areas, including setting up refreshments.
Report any problems and ensure they are fixed.
Handle lost property following established rules.
Empty waste bins and move waste to designated disposal points.
Manage cleaning supplies responsibly.
Keep cleaning standards high at all times.
Follow emergency and relief schedules as directed by your supervisor.
Replenish consumables like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
Help with stock issuing, receiving, and inventory.
Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
