🔧 About the Programme

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) and Base Major CSCEC Joint Venture (BMC SCJV) are offering practical training opportunities for graduates and students in the following fields:

• Civil Engineering
• Land Surveying
• Quantity Surveying
• Construction Management
• Pipe Laying & Bricklaying (TVET students)

This programme helps you complete Work Integrated Learning (WIL), P1 & P2 training, or gain the site experience required for professional registration with:

• ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
• SACPCMP (Project and Construction Management)
• SACQSP (Quantity Surveying)
• SAGC (Geomatics)

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

As a learner, you’ll:

• Assist engineers with daily operations
• Help manage construction sites
• Learn about infrastructure planning and safety
• Write technical reports
• Complete your logbooks/portfolio for academic or registration use

🎓 Who Should Apply?

1. University Graduates – Civil Engineering Degree

• ✅ Degree in Civil Engineering

2. University of Technology (UOT) Graduates – Civil, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management

• ✅ Diploma/Degree in a relevant field

3. P1 & P2 Students (UOTs) – Needing 12-month in-service training

• ✅ Proof from your institution

4. TVET Students (NATED Programme) – Civil Engineering

• ✅ Need 18 or 24-month WIL

5. TVET Students (NCV Programme) – Building, Bricklaying, Pipe Laying

• ✅ Need 6 or 12-month WIL

💼 Experience Needed

• Graduates: 0–3 years post-qualification experience
• Students: No experience required
• You must be passionate about infrastructure development and eager to learn
