Who Can Apply – Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the SAPS Internship Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
Have a relevant qualification if you are applying as a graduate intern.
Be unemployed and have no previous experience in the field you are applying for.
Must not have taken part in any other internship programme related to this field.
Have no criminal record or pending criminal cases.
Provide a legitimate residential address.
Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

For Graduate Internships: You must submit proof of a completed qualification with a certified statement of results.

For Student Internships: You must provide a letter from your institution confirming that practical experience is required, issued within the last two years.
