Sasol Is Hiring Welding Apprentices in 2025! Closing Date: 09 June 2025

Looking for a foot in the door to start your career in engineering and welding? Sasol, in partnership with PDPS, has officially opened applications for the 2025 Welding Apprenticeship Programme. If you have an N3 qualification in relevant subjects and live in Govan Mbeki, Lekwa, or Dipaleseng Municipality, this is your golden opportunity!

This programme is designed for passionate, motivated individuals who want to gain real hands-on experience and become qualified artisans in the welding trade. No work experience is required – just the right qualifications and the willingness to learn!

✅ Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

Residency:
You must live in one of the following municipalities:
- Govan Mbeki
- Lekwa
- Dipaleseng
Educational Requirements:
You must have these qualifications:
- Engineering Mathematics N3
- Engineering Science N3
- English (NCV Level 4) OR First Additional Language NCV Level 4
- Mathematics Level 4 (Pure Mathematics, not Mathematical Literacy)
- Engineering Science (Engineering Processes L4, Professional Engineering Practice L4, or Applied Engineering Technology L4)
- Trade-related theory subject (MUST): Welding or Platers Theory

This opportunity is only open to people who are not already in another training programme.
