Requirements:

• ABET/Grade 11 Certificate and Grade ‘’C’’ PSIRA or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years’ experience in security operation.
• No criminal records or pending cases.
• Availability for irregular hours, shifts (Day/Night), weekends, and leaves, and willingness to undergo vetting.

Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Security legislation, programs and Procedures, Public Service Regulations, Security Registers, Batho Pele Principles, MISS, Good client operation skills, good communication, interpersonal skills, and Problem-solving skills. Time management.

Duties:

• Access control functions.
• Escort visitors and contractors.
• Conduct electronic searches on entrants and their belongings.
• Ensure safety of staff and visitors.
• Perform general and patrolling duties.
• Maintain records of incidents and requests.
• Control parking access.
• Register and authorize departmental assets leaving the premises.
